I scored a weight bench & some weights!

I have been inactive for a year.  My injuries have kept me from being able to exercise and I've been feeling really unhealthy lately.

NOT ANY MORE!  :woohoo:  Got a weight bench and some weights a couple of days ago!  :woohoo:  I've gotten so weak...  My routine is pretty sad... :ashamed:  I can't do anywhere NEAR as much exercise as I could before I fell, but since I don't have much else to do, I'm going to be all about getting my condition back up to a tolerable level.  I don't have a full set of weights yet but I have enough for now.  It's going to be a bit of a challenge since I can't walk long distances or jog / run for cardio, but it's a start!  I already feel a million times better after only two days.  I'm fuckin stoked! :XD:

Not too long, about 6 months. You could tell she was shaping up after only a few weeks though. I think once everybody started recognizing that she was getting healthier it really motivated her.

you THINK you're gonna look like the hulk in a few months? keep dreaming.:laughing: hey man don't rely only on weights, hit those calisthenics as well, they're just as important. nothing wrong with hitting some stomach crunches and push-ups and such. if you wanna get some protein shakes and power bars and vitamins and other stuff you can go to these 2 sites:

catnap definitely has the goods! I'll plow through these links you've thrown me while I backup all my old files. Windows imploded on me a couple of days ago and I lost half my files. Luckily I had the important stuff saved elsewhere! It only took about 6 separate epic data losses in my life for me to keep a backup drive handy... I'm going to be fighting these computers all morning :shakefist:

I already supplement with all my favorite vitamins & I found a big ass container of vanilla flavored whey protein drink powder stashed away in my mom's cupboard! :ninjaeat: !! I should be good for a minute, but I'll take a look at the sites you suggested and then tuck them away for when I run out of shit... As always man, the links are much appreciated! I was just wondering where to start filling up all the new disk space I got, but you solved that ish for me... I was serious about Catnap's ragga dub mixes being incredible, too! yeah you too. stay away from that roofing shit, apparently it's a work hazard for you. thankfully it wasn't your fault and you got some sort of compensation (at least i hope you did). a big-ass container of vanilla flavore whey protein powder? must be about 5 lbs. or so. what really works to keep you bulky strong and healthy though is amino acids. that's what is found in protein but the body has to break down the protein to get to the amino acids which require alot of work. all proteins are is a vehicle, a receptacle for amino acids and are basically useless. that's part of the waste we urinate and excrete. you can find amino acids in fresh fruits and veggies but to keep them intact you have to eat them raw or steam them, NEVER COOK THEM. you'll lose them that way. that's why steaming veggies and rice has been the rave with alot of nutritionists lately.:nod:
